As a faculty member of both the Johns Hopkins Medical School and the University of Maryland Dental School, Dr.Taylor is one of the nation's most knowledgeable and experienced dentists in the areas of special needs and geriatric dentistry and has decades of experience in treating patients with a multitude of disabilities and special needs. The American Dental Association has presented Dr.Taylor with awards for Geriatric Dentistry and Access to Care. Our special care patients include frail or homebound elderly as well as seniors living in nursing homes. ln addition, those that feel they do not fit comfortably into traditional Dental Offices often find a much needed resource in our services. We welcome unique cases with patients that other dentists have refused to see because they suffer from dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, intellectual disabilities, behavioral problems, cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, breathing disorders, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and a full gambit of developmental disabilities.
